Drake holding on we're going

Going to look if the websites and the music videos have a connection because drake seems confident and speaks about his life and some people comparing him to others .

Looking at this music video from the start he creates small movies type of video leading up to the song and when it actually gets to the song it comes up with large titles, carrying on the film type video and then it fades and the song comes on with slow motion showing himself surrounded by men in black suits going into a large house, this shows many different connotations such as power , wealth and confidence and this is also shown on the website with the simple borders and quotes backing his talent up by other producers and song writers through history and then throughout the rest of the video his aim is to get the woman back who he loves this showing that he'll do anything to get what he wants and comparing this to the website it does show why he doesn't need to attract or entertain people on his website and also the simplicity of the website is shown in the slow simple angle and shots which are used with editing .

Kendrick Lamar

When looking at this video and comparing it to the website I think that it does have a familiar connection because this video is much faster has more shots and angles , greater amount of location during the video and different types of editing in the video, it is much different to drakes video and with intertextuality and connotations of power and money with the jewellery around his neck and when looking at the types of clothing that he is wearing it doesn't normally fit with the typical stereotypical hip hop artist that you are used to seeing but because he is more commercialised this would have quickened the process of popularity.

Overall the songs connote with the website and shows what type of a singer that they are so it easy to give general opinions over artist but sometimes there is one that isn't the typically easy to judge .

Looking at these two artist website and how the music is related it good for my research because my track is much slower then Kendrick and the same as drakes or similar so I think that it just backs up my decision to create a website more like drakes then Kendrick's or website 3.
