Intertextuality in music video are many different
things that come up in the same genre videos as you are doing for example in hip hop the stereotype character mostly have big gold chains
a big puffy coat with baggy jeans and these influences you ideas which then make
the video more recognisable and are easy to use because they are so common and people will know and make it recognisable .
When looking at intertextuality in (for example) in films I noticed that they use the same type clothing and extras as the hip hop videos because films try and connect more with the audiences showing that they know what the life is like because not getting this right could offend or put off and not attract the right audience to the film ,
Advertising they sometimes go against the stereotypes or they would go with it to so people can easy recognise and it grabs their attention but that could happen when going against it , fashion wise its mostly been the same over time creating their own style overtime , television they mostly go on the stereotype because they don't want to not make the person or group of people not stand out , Games they normally use the same type of intertexuality showing people from that the hip hop scene and they normally start designing the people to be from the rough area and rarely go against that but when they do, the games still shows the background of hip hop but overall it still runs on the stereotypical side on things and link to that and this is involved on television.
Print media because print media is a market that varies over everyone and different target markets its obvious that they have to change the view and look about hip hop if it is stereotypically bad and rough which why it could put off some people to buy and listen to that type of music etc which is why sometimes they mix it with another kind of music to widen the audience.
But most of the time they use the same shots for instance Fish eye , tracking shots , close up , various mid shots , low angle shots and montages of different things which they recorded and place throughout the video to make it more interesting .
