Filming #2

After we had decided on our location, me, molly and Jack went down to the Photography to collected the Canon 5D Mark 2 from molly's teacher,After that we met Laura, Rachel and headed to the room and move some of the chairs and tables around and making sure it looked the part for the video and after We began filming the shots at around 11 and when all actors were ready and after small practice shots were completed we then decided to start the official filming .

We firsly Tryed shooting the videos continuously but we thought that it didn't work to our advantage so we change to do shot by shot looking at the video for ideas and trying to recreate the right angles and image which the videos shows but it became clear that it was harder then we throught it would of been.

I thought that the direction from molly and the help from the actors helped the shoot be a success.

Filming #1

We intended to get to school for 10:30 so find the equipment and get to the hall but as we arrived we noticed that the hall was full of teachers having a Group bonding meeting on our inset day ,with this issue at hand so we decided that we couldn't wait around doing nothing so we asked if we could use a classroom up in the Sixth-form block and easy enough we had a room.

• This was the large screen which we use to view the different shots and help the actors(Laura) learn the moves and timings of the different movements .

This was the the area which jack used wonderfully directing the video the specific sections and didn't stress of worrie throughout the hole of the video making him easy to work with.secondly this was the desk in the video which Laura used to be the teacher , leaning on the desk.

This photo shows the wide angle of the classroom, showing how much room we were able to have during the execution of the video and around the room there was various different props and books which helped us make the video more like the video itself.

Practice filming

On the 17th of June we all got together in the main school hall and spoke about how we would perform the video and getting to grips with the positioning of the video by looking at the video,actors and the camera cannon 5D mark 2 and As molly was the team leader she spoke through the ideas which the group brought up and i thought that most of them were very helpful in creating the video.

we would be able to the desks, recreating the scene of the class room to our best ability with some props which we will be bringing in .

The Camera

The camera very  different to the one we usually at school because molly does photography they are allowing us to use the extremely professional, Cannon 5d. It has the option to do still images and also performs recordings too.

We are using the camera Monday night after school to practice both using the camera and performing the actual video so it is easier to shoot the following Monday and hopefully it give us the professional look that we are after .

In the first lesson we looked at the video and ''Jack'' one of the members of the group print screened each specific shot and then molly placed them nicely into slideshare for use to use on our blogs, they did this so it made it easier to understand each shot and movement of the camera so when it comes to recreating the video it makes it even more easier to understand .

Recreating a Music Video

The first task was to recreate the music video of the Jessie J's 'Who's laughin' Now'




 we then separated into two groups of five or more which were made by the teacher and then the teachers also made someone as the manager/leader as the group leader to divide tasks and project to each one of us equally .

The overall leader was Molly Bingham , i am pleased that she was chosen because she is a very organised , calm , energetic person which i think could lead this task to be a success.
