In my storyboard I had to make a choice whether to mix the locations or to keep each individual one for the different sections of the video , In the end I looked at the conventions of hip hop videos and realised that it differs with the age of the song and if its newer hip hop mixed with different genres they would mix the location and if the song is older they would keep one location or have separate ones for different sections So overall I had the choice whether to go again the conventions or with and I have decided to go with the conventions and have separate locations for the different parts of the song and using the different techniques.
Transitions between each section of the song either could be a smooth fade , cut , straight cut which is when the shot abruptly ends and the next Shot abruptly begins, form cut which is The cut joins together two pieces of film that contain two similarly shaped objects in similar positions in the frame, Match cut is like the form cut, match cut joins two shots with similar frames together but however it is designed to completely hide the transition from the audience. A fade occurs when the picture gradually turns to a single colour or , usually black, or when a picture gradually appears on screen and would probably be used at the end of the of my song to transitions out easily and A wipe which involves one shot replacing another, traveling from one side of the frame to another and I was thinking about using some of these either at the end or one of them before the chorus start so it become significantly obvious when it is approaching or something else .
